Mamastudio

Magda Ponagajbo, Michał Pawlik and Piotrek Ręczajski are partners of Mamastudio, and at the same time creators and owners of Autor Rooms.

Mamastudio is one of the first independent design studios in Warsaw. It began operations 14 years ago in the basement in Żoliborz. Understanding graphic design as a mission,

Mamastudio’s founders wanted to control the flood of ugliness, which affected Poland in the transition period.

Each year, Mamastudio holds regular picnic celebrating it’s anniversary, which is permanently etched into the summer events calendar in the capital.

The studio has extensive experience in brand’s visual communication: people, organizations, companies, products and places.

Mamastudio’s work includes indigenous influences, Warsaw roots and the latest worldwide trends in graphic design. Keeping an open mind and eyes, the ability to think strategically, as well as the insightful look at the current codes and fashion prevailing in the world of business and culture make it more than a decade that Mamastudio can set trends in visual communication. Numerous national and international publications and awards are proof of this (among others: Kreatura 2010, Red Dot Design Award 2011, Wolda 2011, Best Brand Awards Europe&Russia 2013).

Mamastudio is involved in educational activities, lecturing at the School of Brand Strategy SAR and (earlier) in the Department of Fashion at the Academy of Fine Arts. Mamastudio Partners are co-founders and members of the Association of Graphic Designers (STGU) and the Brand Design Club (KBD).

Mamastudio clients include: Ministerstwo Gospodarki, NBP, Centrum Nauki Kopernik, Instytut Adama Mickiewicza, MTV, Canal+, Radio Zet, Zelmer, Carlsberg.

Magda lives in Żoliborz, Michał in Mokotów, and Piotr in Ochota.

Mamastudio headquarters is located on the 5th floor, in the same building as Autor Rooms.
