Purpura restores a long forgotten tradition of cement tile production, enriching it with modern design and colors.
The production of cement tiles, which originated from the nineteenth century France and Spain, reached the peak of its popularity at the beginning of the XX century. All over Europe, boldly cemented mosaics decorated the most beautiful tenement and manor houses. It was not thirty years later, when the technology has almost extinguished.
Nowadays, Purpura has decided to restore the traditional cement tile technology. Our tiles are entirely handcrafted so each tile is unique and has a natural charm, which is impossible to achieve in mass production.
Our tiles are excellent proposition for tiling interior walls and floors. And as each tile is custom-made, all patterns can be used with numerous color combinations. Feel invited to choose your tiling according to your character and needs.
